Our New Logo
What's with the triangles?
A NEW LOGO FOR THE HUMANOLOGY PROJECT
There are many exciting changes happening with THP. We're rolling out a new logo to reflect that. We worked with a fantastic designer, Theresa Savarese, on communicating our mission through its triangles that represent our programs and worked with transparency to show how they all intertwine.
Our vision has always been to provide a portal for two things. First, we give people suffering from mental health issues a platform to share their stories; they can find responsive and supportive readers, who often offer invaluable advice (now called ‘Pathos’). Second, contributors adapt scientific, peer-reviewed literature into journalistic articles that are more easily accessible to the public. This way, rumours and myths can be dispelled better, and new findings communicated widely (‘Ethos’).
An essential part of the Project is its academic operation. We shall soon have an online course combining science journalism and non-fictional narrative writing that will be distributed globally via Coursera. This is the third component of the Project (‘Logos’).
We hope that each element of THP will bolster and influence the user experience.
